Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum booking time?
All events require a 2-hour minimum ($100). Additional time is $50/hr or you can book a 5-hour block for $200.
Photoshoots can be booked for 1 hour at $75.
What is included?
Tea & coffee facilities, fridge, Wi-Fi, 30 sparkling wine glasses, 12 mugs, and full access to the space (capacity 30 cocktail / 12 seated).
Can I bump in or set up earlier?
Your set up and pack down must fit within your booking time. Please book additional hours if you need more time.
Is there a cleaning fee?
No fee applies if the space is left clean, tidy, and as you found it.
A cleaning fee of $60 may be charged if excessive mess is left behind.
Vacuum, cloths and spray or provided.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made:
- 7+ days before: full refund
- 48 hours: 50% refund
- Less than 48 hours: no refund (bookings are final)
Is there parking?
Free street parking is available on Lee Street and surrounding streets. Please allow extra time during busy periods.
Can I play music?
Yes — reasonable noise levels are permitted.
No external speakers/amplifiers that disturb neighbours.
No events past 10pm.
Will SAVVI promote my event?
Yes! With your permission, we can post your event on our website and on @savvitheworkshop to help drive visibility.
Full Terms + Conditions
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once payment has been made through our website or via invoice. Bookings are non-transferable unless approved in writing.
2. Minimum Booking Time
Event bookings require a minimum of 2 hours.
Photoshoots may be booked for 1-hour sessions.
All bump-in and pack-down must be included within your booked timeframe.
3. Fees & Payments
- 2-hour hire: $100
- Additional hour: $50/hr
- 5-hour block: $200
- 1-hour photoshoot: $75
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- 7+ days prior → full refund
- 48 hours prior → 50% refund
- Less than 48 hours → no refund (booking is final)
No refunds apply for no-shows.
5. Use of Space
The hirer agrees to use the space respectfully and only for the purpose outlined at the time of booking.
Events must remain within appropriate noise levels and must not cause disruption to neighbouring businesses or residents.
6. Cleaning & Care
The space must be left clean, tidy, and in original condition.
Rubbish must be removed, and furniture returned to its original layout.
A $60 cleaning fee may be applied if:
- excessive mess is left
- spills, stains, or damage occur
- facilities (kitchen, bathroom) are left unclean
7. Damage & Liability
Any damage to equipment, furniture, floral installations or the venue must be reported immediately.
The hirer is responsible for all costs associated with repair or replacement.
SAVVI The Workshop is not liable for personal injury, lost items, or damage to hirer property or equipment.
8. Capacity Limits
- 30 people (cocktail style)
- 15 people (workshop seating)
These limits must be adhered to for safety and comfort.
9. Alcohol & Catering
Alcohol is permitted for private events only. The hirer is responsible for complying with all local regulations.
All catering and food must be removed at the end of the event.
10. Parking
Free street parking is available. SAVVI is not responsible for parking availability.
11. Promotion & Photography
With your permission, we may promote your event through:

This is optional and can be declined.
12. Noise & Event Times
Music is allowed at a reasonable level.
Events cannot extend past 10pm unless written approval is given.
13. Security & Behaviour
All guests must behave respectfully and responsibly while on the premises.
Aggressive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.
